The Act of Listening to your own Vessel
It is crazy how many times a day we overstep our own needs, desires and organic flow of being. We are so trained to just get on with our daily work and services to others, that we cannot even listen to what our own needs are, even in our free time. We then end up with anxiety, weight in the chest and we cannot even remember where it came from.
In this master class I will share with you how to practice listening to your own vessel, your body, and all the bodies it contains (the mental, physical, emotional etc..), and share with you ways to allow each one of them to be heard, expressed and nourished, through embodied and somatic practices.
Book presentation in Larnaca
We invite you to a very special evening of a book presentation event of our book ‘Performance works of Lia Haraki’ at the Vasileia M. Anaxagorou Studio in Larnaca. The book which was created with a dream team of collaborators, invites the reader into over two decades of Haraki’s profound artistic inquiry, performance-based experimentation, and deep community entanglement. During the book presentation, Lia, together with some of the contributing authors, including Vasileia Anaxagorou, will share stories, moments, and readings from the book.
Do join us for an evening of sharing how performance lives, breathes, and endures — both on stage, off stage, and on the page.

Reading the Performance and Performing the book
For the last two years we have been creating a book about the works that Lia and her team of collaborators presented from 2003 to 2023. The idea of the book is to speak about how the bodies featured in it experience an ephemeral art form that ends immediately after its presentation. That would be the voices and views of the performers, the academics, the collaborators, the audience members and the journalists.
Our performance ‘Reading the Performance and Performing the book’ is in relation to the process of making the book, so as to see if its content can be recycled and become a newperformance work. On stage will be Lia Haraki, the editor of the book Erica Charalambous and Yiangos Hadjiyiannis.
Our bodies will be responding remembering, reacting and sharing like a living archive.

Vesseling and Channeling creation -workshop
The workshop 'Vesseling and Channeling Creation' concerns the internal and external processes that the individual goes through during creation. Specifically, Lia uses the word Vesseling to describe the inner processes of care and nurturing of the creator's self and the word Channeling to explain how the creator chooses to externalize, transfer, and communicate his creative world to others.
During the workshop, participants will explore practices and ways to listen and meet their inner needs during creation and conscious ways of externalizing and sharing their creative universe. In addition, they will explore the relationship between their bodies' mental, emotional, and physical sides and the balance between them through voice, movement, meditation techniques, discussion, and writing.
