The Repetitive Poetry
Vocal Practice
The repetitive poetry practice is both a vocal and an embodied practice. As a continuation of the IntuNition practice, this time, words (not just movement) are repeated, varied, and transformed into sounds through alternating rhythms. The result is a dynamic interplay between meaning and abstraction, text and movement, words and sounds, which stimulates both the mental and the physical body of the performer and the observer.
“The voice
as in vocalizing
as in sounding
as in speaking
as in singing
as in resonating
as in vibrating”
