SKULL

2020

Skull is a piece on proximity. It is a performance of soundscapes and embodiments of characters taken from Cypriot society who experience distance in different ways. The two artists create sound conditions that aim to shorten the distance between viewers via identification, familiarity, and empathy. Thoughts trigger emotions that become vibrations that turn into sounds and enter the spectator via the ears and eyes. With sterilised bodies and covered faces, it is essential that the heart remains open.

Skull is a dive into the cranium of the soul.
