THE FEAST

The Feast is a performance where the audience – or otherwise, our guests – were given the opportunity to dine with the performers and simultaneously experience a Stand-Up PerformDance that revolved around the ritual of dinner.

Through the principles of good manners and their negation, the notion of the civilised human in relation to their primitive nature was explored. Somewhere along the plates, the food and the forks, the guests were carried through a gastronomic journey that affirmed that table habits and manners are elements that define their social body and the relationships around them. Food, as memory and as pleasure, cannibalism and cutlery as extensions of the body were factors that contributed to the smooth or irregular progression of the evening.
