Dimitris Chimonas & Enacttheatre- “Date-time-location”

Location: .Faneromenis Square @ 18:00 - 20:00

Three performers enter and exit a public space and engage in a non-scripted ritual of rhythmical clapping, allowing a series of failures, successes and familiar rhythms to unravel. By deconstructing the folk music and dances of the Eastern Mediterranean and European region, the rhythms and vibrations transform every time it is shared, and consequently - depending on the public, a new performance is created each time.

marios ioannou- “Three tragic women from euripides”

Location: In the small alleys in the old town @ 18:00 - 20:00

The piece is made out by three female dramatic monologues by Euripides. It's main goal is to protest against war. Any war! The performance started off as a 'street tragedy' in the Summer of 2009 in Berlin. Afterwords it was parformed in the streets of the divided city of NIcosia as well as hosted in Theaters and cultural centers . The text is from the  translation of Thrasivoulos Stavrou and the costume was created for the piece by Melita Kouta. The audience will be coming across Ifigeneia from 'Ifigeneia in the country of the bulls', Cassandra from 'Trojan women' and last  Helena from 'Helena'  as if accidentally coming across a friend, or a homeless person or a political immigrant .

Location: Ledras and Onasagorou streets @ 18:00 - 20:00

Graffities are the tattoos of a city . ‘Dream On’ was inspired by the different graffitis found in the walls of LImassol which stand as silent cries of awakening from the sleep of habit. The performers bring the graffities to life and become themselves symbols of an utopic reality.

Performers: Eleana Alexandrou, Petros Konnaris

Location: Ledras and Onasagorou streets @ 18:00 - 20:00

Deep Love is an amalgamation of all the love and properties in the world that are being extracted, deteriorating, saturated and amplified from the planet. An attempt to embody ecological and historical research through personification and use it as a tool to create awareness of the anthropocene and accessibility into post-humanist scientific research and theories through abstract and poetic regurgitation of myth and environmental knowledge.

Location: Andreas Michaelides Textiles shop @ 18:00 - 20:00

De-Facies (from Latin facies, “mask”) stems from Lackan’s concept of the “mirror stage”— a fundamental moment in human development that is necessary for us to become conscious of our self-existence. Seated inside the shop window, the performer is making a mask by sticking materials directly on her face. She, like a chameleon, is trying to merge with her surroundings, and disappear in the colours of her shiny backdrop. After she has completed her mask, the performer will continue the work in the streets around the Shop, where the audience is invited to follow her.

Location: Faneromenis Square @ 18:00 - 20:00

The Speaker is a performance where a speaker is made available to play any song it is being asked by the passers-by. They may enjoy it in any way they choose, either alone or with whoever happens to be there.

Participants: Maria Kassapi, Emily Cutler, Panayiota NIcolaou
Music collaborator: Panos Bartzis

loukia pierides- “dear darling”

Location: Liana’s Boutique near Faneromenis square @ 18:00 - 20:00

Dear Darling is an ode to the ‘Diva’ Inspired by the work and character of female power machines such as Maria Callas and Bette Davis. This performance reenacts unforgettable scenes from their work where the diva-esque is traceable and visible.

Location: Ledras street @ 18:00 - 20:00

The solo ‘Tune In’ is about surrendering to presence. Movement is initiated from the silence of the thinking mind and the vibration of the beating heart. The journey is an ongoing movement continuum as embodiments of the everlasting present take place.
