Lia initiated Dance House Lemesos by inviting other 4 companies to share a space. Eventually it became the space which supports professional contemporary dance locally and also functions as an international link for Cyprus based dance artists since 2007. Lia is the president of its committee.

In September 2015 she was the curator of the 6th Open House International dance festival of Dance House Lemesos with the theme SEXPECTATIONS having on its programme local and international artists.

Her project entitled The performance Shop is a pop-up shop offering one on one performances as unique experiences for all individuals. The project attracted the attention of performance artist Marina Abramovic, stating that it is a very fresh and good idea (Athens 2016). The Performance shop was selected as one of 25 best practices in Europe by the EDN (European Dance House Network) in 2016.
